What we do not do
We do not ask you to register, we do not set a cookie to recognize you, we do not run an analytics or advertising tag of our own, and we do not sell or share anything about you, because we do not have anything about you. Playing a round on this site is entirely in your browser: your answers are not sent anywhere and are gone when you close the tab.
What happens anyway
The video player. Episode pages embed the video from YouTube using youtube-nocookie.com, which is Google's privacy-enhanced mode. It does not set tracking cookies before you press play. Once you play a video, Google receives the request and its own terms apply — see Google's privacy policy. Nothing on this site plays automatically.
Server logs. Like any web server, ours records the requests it serves: the address asked for, the time, the browser's user-agent string and the IP address it came from. That is how a server answers at all. We use it to keep the site running and we do not use it to build a profile of anybody.
Links out. Buttons to YouTube, Instagram and Facebook carry autm_campaign value so we can see which of them people use. It says which button was pressed, not who pressed it, and the destination applies its own policy from the moment you arrive.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing from anybody, including them.
Where the questions come from
The people in our quizzes are professional athletes, and everything we publish about them — clubs, seasons, draft positions, awards — comes from the leagues' own public statistics. We hold no private information about anybody.
Corrections and requests
Write to admin@wiselemur.com. If you believe we hold information about you and want it removed, say so and we will look; the honest expectation is that we do not.
