Using the site
Play the rounds, read the pages, link to anything. You may quote from a page with attribution and a link. What you may not do is copy the catalogue wholesale — scraping the question bank or the player pages to republish them elsewhere is the one use this is not offered for, and automated crawling beyond what a search engine does may be blocked.
Facts, and the way they are put
The underlying facts — which clubs a player wore, in which seasons, at which draft position — are records, and nobody owns a record. The way they are gathered, checked, worded, drawn and edited into a video is ours: the questions, the explanations, the artwork, the mascot and the videos are the property of Wise Lemur.
We are not the leagues
Wise Lemur is an independent producer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any league or club. Club names and leagues' names are used to describe the careers the quizzes ask about, and remain the property of their owners.
Naming some leagues and not others would be worse than naming none: an enumeration invites the question of who is missing and grows every time a channel launches. Each video carries the precise line for its own sport, where the context is one league and precision is what a rights holder looks for.
Accuracy, and getting it wrong
Every question is built from an official source and read by a person before it is published, and it can still be wrong. Nothing here is offered as a reference work or as advice, and it should not be relied on for anything that matters. If you find a mistake, write to admin@wiselemur.com — corrections are the mail we most want, because a fact fixed at the source stays fixed.
Videos
The videos are hosted by YouTube and play through its embedded player. YouTube's own terms apply to watching them.
